It's not necessarily an indispensable tool for good, in my book. It can be a bottomless pit, consume too much of one's attention, stop one getting out and relating directly to people, etc. However, it is a potentially awesome tool for reaching a mass audience. And it is very exciting to see how it is helping these kinds of non-profit organisations grow.
